Worksite Wellness Business Forum Purpose:

The Worksite Wellness Business Forum (WBF) was created as a result of input from the HWA's inaugural Worksite Wellness Conference held in November 2007. Feedback from surveys from the 400 corporate Worksite Wellness Managers, HR & Benefit Directors, CEOs and CFOs that attended indicated a real need for an ongoing forum that those responsible for wellness at worksites could come and learn best practices without being solicited by vendors.

The WBF is one of the most important projects the Houston Wellness Association has undertaken because if we are going to truly make Houston a healthier place to live and work we are going to have to reach out to every type of business in our community and be a value-ad resource in their efforts to get their employees healthier and, thus, more productive.

The WBF will meet in January, April, July, and October in 2009. You do not have to be a member to attend. However, we encourage your company to join the HWA to maximize your learning and networking opportunities. Below is a listing of upcoming events as well as presentations from previous events.

Upcoming Events:

April 23rd Let the Numbers Speak – Why Employee Wellness Makes Business Sense
July 22nd Wellness Programs that Work – Learning from Experience
October 23rd Wellness Beyond 4 Walls – Reaching Out to a Geographically Dispersed or Uninsured Workforce
