The Houston Business Coalition on Health (HBCH) is pleased to announce the appointment of Melissa Paschal as its first executive director. HBCH is the only local forum that brings together employers, health plans, hospitals, physicians, and regulators to innovate and improve quality, create healthier populations, and lower healthcare costs. HBCH seeks to provide Houston employers a forum to share best practices in benefits, health, and wellness issues for their employees and families, as well as a forum for interaction and advocacy. As the 4th largest market in the United States, Houston is a leader in healthcare issues as well as an international health destination due to the Texas Medical Center presence/influence exness thailand.

Ms. Paschal brings over 20 years of executive management experience and business acumen related to healthcare financing, business development, strategic planning, and operations. She looks forward to building a strong alliance of business support and employer participation in the challenging environment of accelerated change brought on by the implementation of the Affordable Care Act.
