Steve Arnold

President, Arnold Information Technology; Author, The Google Legacy; Louisville, Kentucky

Arnold has spent more than 30 years in accessing and developing online technologies, and is the author of seven books about information technology. He is the author of more than 60 journal articles. For the last four years, he has been tracking and monitoring Google's technical innovations and monitoring the enterprise search technology of more than 50 companies competing in this market sector. He is the original author of The Enterprise Search Report, a 660-page encyclopedia of search technology, currently in its third edition from CMSWatch.com and his latest study Google Version 2.0: The Calculating Predator and its predecessor, The Google Legacy from Infonortics Ltd. This Google study was the first report to document Google's technology infrastructure and tie it to the company's ability to generate new products and outmaneuver its competitors. Arnold also funds the Evvie, an annual award for excellence in search technology. This award is presented each year at the Boston Search Engine Meeting, organized by Infonortics Ltd.

Kim Evans

CEO, Secure Vantage Technologies; Houston, Texas

Currently Kim Evans serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Secure Vantage Technologies (SVT) responsible for formulating and implementing the investment and growth plan to enable SVT to achieve increased sales, operational efficiency and a profitable business. Kim served as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Alliances at Tidal Software. She was responsible for Tidal Software's business development activities, strategic partnerships, OEM and licensing opportunities. She managed the company's relationships with strategic partners including Microsoft, SAP, Oracle and Hewlett-Packard. Previously, Kim served as the Director of Business Planning and Strategic Investments for the Windows and Enterprise Management Division (WEMD) at Microsoft. Previously Kim served as the Director of Corporate Strategy at BMC Software where she developed and implemented effective strategies for BMC business units. Based on her achievements, Kim was named one of the "Top twenty women in Technology" in Houston, TX and one of the ten brightest rising technology stars in Austin, TX. She has a BA in Product Design from Wayne State University.

Paul Frison

Executive Vice Chairman, Houston Technology Center; Houston, Texas

Paul Frison has been President and/or CEO of three public companies (LifeMark, ComputerCraft, LifeCell) each technology-based. He has been involved in four other start-ups by serving on the Board of Directors. His experience includes numerous mergers and acquisitions. He has raised multiple rounds of venture capital, two IPOs, and more than a dozen follow-on rounds of public financing. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the HTC, Technology Inc., The Institute of Research and Rehabilitation (TIRR), The Entrepreneurship Institute, The Houston Entrepreneurs Foundation, Houston Angel Network, and the Advisory Council of the University of Houston - College of Technology. He received the 2004 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Entrepreneurship Supporter. He was one of the three national finalists for the Kaufman Foundation 2004 National Supporter of Entrepreneurhsip Award.

Paul Keckley, PhD

Executive Director, Deloitte Center for Health Solutions; Washington, DC

Paul H. Keckley, Ph.D., is the executive director of the Deloitte Center for Health Solutions, a part of Deloitte LLP. He provides strategic guidance on the development of Center research and thought leadership. Paul has had 30 years of experience in academic medicine and the private sector. He is well-regarded for his knowledge of health care economics, health policy and trend analysis. Prior to joining Deloitte, Paul served in several key roles at Vanderbilt University. He was the executive director of the Vanderbilt Center for Evidence-based Medicine. He oversaw many clinical outsourcing ventures involving care team training, clinical information technology, data management, and evidence-based pathway construction and integration. Paul also has engaged in several joint ventures, including specialty hospitals in the United Kingdom, development of primary care delivery systems in Botswana, partnerships with two Fortune 100 companies pursuing innovative approaches to chronic care management and others that are in early-stage development. Paul has been profiled by ABC's "20/20," CBS's "60 Minutes," CNN, Fox News and The Wall Street Journal; he also has been a keynote speaker at several national industry meetings. Paul has testified for state Medicaid Review Committees in Utah and Tennessee about the potential impact of evidence-based standards on benefits for enrollees.

Jonathan H. Lack

Executive Director, Houston Wellness AssociationJonathan H. Lack is the executive director and founding board member of the Houston Wellness Association. He is one of the founders of the Mayor's Wellness Council, where he serves on the Executive Committee. Lack is principal of ROI Ventures, a marketing and strategic planning management consulting boutique founded in 1993. He has been interim CEO of Antone's, LP, and executive vice president of marketing and strategic planning for CompuBank, NA, the first virtual national bank. He currently serves on the executive committee for ALF Houston and is a director for the Texas Lyceum. He earned an MBA from The Wharton School, a master's in international relations and economics from Johns Hopkins SAIS and a master's in Middle East studies from UC, Berkeley.

Mark Perlman

Vice President, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Oracle; Atlanta, Georgia

Marc Perlman is Oracle's Vice President for Healthcare and Life Sciences Industry Business Unit for North America. Marc is responsible for driving Oracle's strategy and product plan in the health sciences market. In his role, Marc also leads the Oracle's North America Healthcare and Life Sciences Strategy Board and represents North America on Oracle's Global Healthcare and Live Sciences Board. With over 25 years in the healthcare industry, he as integrally worked with payers, providers and other key constituents to drive operational, clinical and financial efficiencies. He joined Oracle from McKesson Corporation, where over his 12 year tenure, he progressed through leadership roles of ever increasing responsibility on the Provider and Payer sides of the business as well as in medication safety and automation solutions. Prior to McKesson, Marc held executive roles in healthcare analytics, disease management, cost containment and homecare service organizations.

__Manfred Sternberg__

CEO, Bluegate; Houston, Texas

Manfred Sternberg is Board Certified in Consumer and Commercial Law and is licensed to practice law in Texas and Louisiana. He founded and is Chairman of Bluegate Corporation, a healthcare information technology professional service provider firm based in Houston. Manfred most recently received an appointment by Governor Perry to be the Chairman of the public/private partnership Texas Health Services Authority created by the last Texas legislature in House Bill 1066. The Authority is charged with becoming the catalyst for health information exchange in Texas. Manfred has also founded and is Vice Chairman of the iHealth Trust, a non-profit based in Houston, whose mission is to become the transparent, neutral, non-stakeholder, non-governmental information broker for the local Healthcare market.
